About
Takaya Sekine, CFA is a seasoned investment professional who works on
the practical implementation of quant research, artificial intelligence
and alternative data for investment strategies. During his twenty five
year career in Amundi, he was Deputy Head of Quant Research in Amundi
Paris and Deputy CIO at Amundi Japan. He has been involved in macro and
policy related investment strategies for both retail and institutional
clients. He also holds a patent for an investment trust practicing
system in Japan.
Takaya teaches an AI focused elective course in the Master in International
Finance program at HEC Paris, connecting academic training with applied AI
research.
Takaya is a CFA charterholder since 2005 and he received the Ingénieur Civil
des Mines degree from Ecole des Mines de Nancy in 2000.
